Lakeside Foods is seeking a Service Desk Specialist to provide first-level technical support to internal and external users. This role serves as the primary point of contact for IT support requests, helping diagnose and resolve technical issues while delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive user experience. This position will be ON-SITE, and based in our Weston, Oregon Facility. What You’ll Get Competitive pay based on experience Affordable, market-leading medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan with company match Paid vacation and personal time Paid training and professional development opportunities Exposure to a wide range of technologies and systems Growth opportunities within a stable, family-owned company What You’ll Do Serve as the first point of contact for technical support requests via phone, email, chat, and the Service Desk portal Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and user access issues Escalate issues requiring advanced technical support to the appropriate IT teams Track, update, and resolve incidents and service requests through the ticketing system Follow up with users to ensure complete resolution and satisfaction Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and support activities Create and update knowledge base articles and support documentation Support employee onboarding and offboarding, including hardware and software setup Assist with continuous improvement initiatives and special IT projects Provide occasional support at Lakeside Foods facilities as needed Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Associate degree in a computer-related field preferred Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications Basic networking knowledge ITIL certification is a plus Skills & Abilities Strong customer service and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems efficiently Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to communicate effectively with users of varying technical skill levels Self-motivated with a strong work ethic Strong attention to detail and follow-through Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Professional, team-oriented approach to supporting users Additional Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Ability to travel up to 10% to support company operations Why Lakeside Foods Founded in 1887 , Lakeside Foods is a family-owned company with a long history of quality, integrity, and innovation.
