Vice President, Translational Development
Stoke Therapeutics
Stoke Therapeutics seeks a Vice President of Translational Development to lead strategy connecting preclinical research with clinical development across RNA-based therapeutics. This senior role oversees clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, and immunogenicity assessment while partnering with cross-functional teams to guide programs from preclinical through regulatory submission.
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead integrated translational development strategy across preclinical and clinical programs
- Build and direct translational development team including clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, biomarkers, and immunogenicity functions
- Serve as senior translational and clinical pharmacology expert to program teams and executive leadership
- Communicate translational strategy, risks, and recommendations to executive leadership and Board of Directors
- Contribute translational perspectives to R&D priorities, portfolio decisions, and corporate strategy
Requirements
- Deep expertise translating preclinical data into clinical development strategies
- Experience with clinical pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and translational biomarkers
- Knowledge of dose selection and exposure-response relationship establishment
- Proven organizational leadership and executive communication skills
- Experience interfacing with regulatory authorities and cross-functional teams
- Background in RNA therapeutics or antisense oligonucleotide development preferred
