Vice President/Senior Vice President, Genomics & Data Science
Stoke Therapeutics
Stoke Therapeutics seeks a VP/SVP of Genomics & Data Science to lead computational, genomics, and data systems supporting RNA medicine discovery and development. This strategic executive will build and mentor a multidisciplinary team, oversee scientific computation and AI innovation, and drive therapeutic design for the company's antisense oligonucleotide pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for scientific computation, genomics, and therapeutic design functions
- Build, mentor, and grow high-performing multidisciplinary teams with enterprise data perspective
- Champion computational and AI innovation including analytics, data visualization, and target insights
- Lead establishment of genomics and molecular assays supporting development programs across all stages
- Identify and develop external collaborations to augment internal capabilities and represent technologies to stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years leading quantitatively focused, multidisciplinary teams in pharma, biotech, or life sciences
- Proven track record building and scaling technical and scientific organizations
- Deep expertise in computational biology, genomics, and data science applications
- Strong strategic and technical leadership in discovery and translational development
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management across matrix organizations
- Experience with therapeutic design and molecular assay development
