Project Manager - Operations

Position Title Project Manager – Operations – Waterford, CT Location and Schedule Regional Office: Waterford, CT Monday – Friday Travel: Up to 60% regional travel Job Responsibilities Lead project management activities for the complex installation of Airgas equipment, ensuring on‑time and on‑budget completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and risk plans, and report progress to leadership. Prepare, update, and verify P&ID drawings in AutoCAD, ensuring process equipment matches the diagrams. Coordinate Management of Changes (MOCs) and assist with Northeast’s Quality program, including ISO/QC audits and customer complaint system. Maintain project documentation, reconciliation of paperwork, and electronic file systems to meet quality metrics. Order inventory, source vendors, and monitor vendor performance and cost control. Manage project staff scheduling, overtime levels, and safety meeting attendance to reduce accident frequency. Provide regular status reports on cost tracking, milestones, and compliance issues. Escalate problems to leaders or project owners as required. Support Health, Safety, and Environmental programs and objectives of the business entity. Perform physical duties such as lifting 10–30 pounds, standing or walking during site visits, and operating a motor vehicle. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED with relevant experience (minimum 3–5 years project control/scheduling experience). Valid U.S. employment authorization; no current or future visa sponsorship required. Strong knowledge of bulk cryogenic installations and reading of blueprints, schematics, and flow charts. Experience with project management tools and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Proficiency with AutoCAD and Intelex. Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise independent judgment. Customer service orientation and ability to develop systems to keep projects organized. Physical capability to meet vision, mobility, and lift requirements, and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Industrial gas experience. Prior experience with Northeast or similar large‑scale operations. Salary Range $80,000 – $97,000 per year (base salary; 401(k) with company match, tuition assistance, paid holidays, vacation, and sick time included).
