What You’ll Do As our Operational Manager, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our shop. Your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing daily shop operations to maintain a productive work environment. Scheduling employees and coordinating daily workflow to meet business demands. Handling customer concerns and resolving conflicts professionally. Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring stock levels are maintained. Assisting around the shop, including lifting parts (up to 50 lbs) and supporting team members as needed. Maintaining confidentiality and exercising sound judgment in all aspects of the role. Motivating employees and fostering a positive team culture. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking candidates who bring a strong mix of experience, skills, and dedication to the table. To succeed in this role, you’ll need: Experience: At least 1 year of previous management or leadership experience, preferably in an automotive or transmission shop setting. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, emails, and shop management software. Organization: Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Customer Focus: Experience handling customer concerns and resolving conflicts with professionalism. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs when assisting around the shop. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual (English/Spanish), valid driver’s license, and college education in business or management.
