Investment Funds Counsel

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Investment Funds practice of a leading international law firm in New York as Counsel. You’ll advise private equity sponsors, asset managers and institutional investors on the formation, structuring and operation of a broad range of private investment funds, working closely with partners and clients on sophisticated domestic and cross‑border fund formation matters. Requirements 7+ years' PQE gained at a leading US or international law firm. Extensive experience advising on the formation and structuring of private investment funds, including private equity, credit, real estate, infrastructure or other alternative investment funds. Outstanding technical ability with excellent drafting, analytical and communication skills. Experience leading matters, supervising junior lawyers and building strong client relationships in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment. Commercially minded with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
