Position Overview
Our organization’s esteemed Social Work Emergency Services team addresses social challenges and needs within the Emergency Department and across inpatient services.
Primary Responsibilities- Delivering clinical social work support to aid patients and their families in navigating personal, familial, medical, and environmental challenges.
- Conducting psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, diagnosing issues, and formulating as well as executing intervention and treatment strategies.
- Engaging in the planning and execution of discharge and outpatient service strategies, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure effective treatment and service delivery.
- Master’s degree in social work.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
- Prior experience in medical or hospital social work is preferred.
- Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
- LCSW certification in Massachusetts is required; LICSW certification is preferred.
New hires will receive a sign-on bonus of $5,000!
This role involves working four 10-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
Compensation and BenefitsThe salary range provided reflects our organization’s reasonable and good-faith expectations at the time of posting.
Base salary offers will be determined based on skills, experience, education, certifications, and various other job-related factors. The base salary is part of a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
