Position Overview

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting a diverse range of ultrasound examinations, encompassing abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritizing patient comfort and safety, guiding them through procedures with clarity and kindness
• Working in unison with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-notch diagnostic images
• Managing and maintaining imaging equipment, swiftly reporting any malfunctions
• Thoroughly documenting procedures and maintaining accurate patient records within our electronic medical systems
• Keeping abreast of the latest advancements in ultrasound technology and best practices

Educational Background

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a closely related field
• Experience in a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent organization
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
