Registered Nurse (RN) – Psychiatric Hospital Location: Concord, NH | Pay: $58/hour | 40 Hours Guaranteed | 13-Week Contract Earn up to $9,280/month gross at 40 hours/week — with overtime opportunities available for even higher earning potential! New Hampshire Hospital, in partnership with the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking experienced and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) with strong behavioral health experience to join a dedicated psychiatric care team in Concord, NH. Available Shifts Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (5x8 schedules only) Why Join Us? Competitive Pay – $58/hour Guaranteed 40-hour work weeks 13-week contract assignment Weekly pay opportunities Overtime potential available Meaningful work in behavioral health and psychiatric nursing RN Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Conducting psychiatric and admission assessments Administering medications Monitoring vital signs and blood glucose levels Processing physician orders Completing treatments and dressing changes Conducting pain assessments Performing venipuncture services Maintaining a safe therapeutic environment Documenting patient care using Electronic Health Records (EHR) Communicating patient updates verbally and in writing Responding appropriately to patient and staff safety concerns Requirements Active RN License Minimum 2 years of Behavioral Health / Psychiatric nursing experience (REQUIRED) BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) (REQUIRED) Must be comfortable working independently in psychiatric settings Orientation completed on 1st shift for 4 weeks Initial Submission Requirements Candidates must submit: Updated Resume Active RN License AHA BLS Certification For overnight nurses, you may work independently on the unit and should be comfortable in autonomous psychiatric nursing environments.
