Job DetailsJob Location: Southlake Headquarters - Southlake, TX 76092 Job Summary The Spine Team Texas Payment Information Processor is responsible for insuring accurate information and posting is entered into the computer system. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Spine Team Texas. The Payment Information Processor reports directly to the Patient Financial Services Manager under the direction of the Patient Financial Services Director. Job Responsibilities The Payment Information Processor (Payment Poster) will be responsible for ensuring that all EOB’s, Insurance checks, and patient payments are accurately posted into the computer system according to STT insurance contracts. This position must be able to identify when payments are not accurate; balances are left in the insurance responsibility and not adjusted to ensure the billing personnel can appeal in a timely manner. The Payment Poster must insure balances are left in insurance for patients with secondary insurance information and the “File Next” is marked so the secondary insurance can be filed. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as necessary by the Patient Financial Services Supervisor or Manager. Customer Service All Spine Team Texas employees are required to maintain the highest level of customer service at all times. Employees must always speak in a kind, courteous and professional manner when dealing with a patient/customer or co-worker. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Must be able to sit for long periods of time in a well-lit, air conditioned office environment. Must have ability to lift a minimum of 5 pounds. Must be able to work under pressure. Tasks involve no exposure to blood or other potentially infectious materials. QualificationsEducational Requirements & Position Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent is required. Minimum of 3 years posting from EOB and posting charges experience required. Detail oriented and organizational skills. Experience posting payments, and balancing the postings. Computer experience, typing and ability to operate calculator. Possess the ability to work productively, either independently or with other individuals. Proficient in communicating in the English language both written and verbally. #J-18808-Ljbffr
