About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director with a strong background in affordable housing, homelessness services, or community-based nonprofit organizations. The ideal candidate will have senior leadership experience in these areas, be a collaborative leader, and possess the skills necessary to navigate public funding, build partnerships, and advance community-centered solutions. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading the organization's strategy and operations, overseeing program evaluation, and continuous improvement, as well as identifying and pursuing funding opportunities. A deep commitment to client-centered, dignity-driven service delivery is essential, as is the ability to strengthen partnerships with government entities, housing organizations, and community partners. Candidates for the Executive Director position at the company should have a proven track record of building partnerships with government agencies, funders, and community stakeholders. Experience with affordable housing systems, public funding, or housing development environments is also required. The role involves close collaboration with the Board of Directors on organizational growth, governance, and policy implementation, as well as supervising and supporting department leaders. The successful candidate will serve as a visible ambassador for the organization in the community and will be expected to oversee contracts, compliance, fiscal administration, and reporting requirements.
