Key Qualifications:

• Must possess “S10/S10A” designation; additional S-qualifications (S10E, S10F, S10Q, S10W, S20D, S20V, S22) strongly desired and should be clearly listed.
• Meet one of the following: Associate’s Degree or higher, 48 college units plus a high school diploma, or passing score on CBEST or the instructional aide exam plus a high school diploma.
• Willingness and ability to assist with all personal care needs, including toileting, diapering, feeding, and G-tube feeding as required.
• Annual and biennial completion of specific trainings (e.g., CPR, emergency medication, physical health procedures) as outlined per S-qualification.
• Team-oriented attitude with flexibility to be assigned wherever needs arise on campus.
• Candidates meeting criteria may take the district’s para test offered weekly if needed.

Role Expectations:

• Foster student independence and safety in all assigned settings.
• Support instructional activities under teacher supervision, adapting to classroom or one-on-one scenarios.
• Assist with physical and health care needs as assigned.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism.

This contract position offers 27.5 hours per week, providing a great work-life balance while making a difference every day. Compensation starts at $34.25 per hour or above, reflecting district standards and local requirements.
