Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Prior experience working with children or youth, preferably in a school or related setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, teachers, and families
• Flexibility and adaptability to assist with a variety of classroom and student needs
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in student development
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or related field a plus

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support students one-on-one or in small groups under the direction of a classroom teacher
• Assist with daily classroom activities and help maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to instructional staff
• Help with classroom organization and preparation of educational materials
• Encourage student engagement and foster positive behavior
• Aid in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) as directed
