Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in a classroom or educational setting
- Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow teacher directions and adapt to student needs
- Familiarity with classroom management strategies
- Reliability and professionalism in maintaining student confidentiality
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in education or child development a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers with classroom activities, lesson execution, and individual or group instruction
- Provide one-on-one or small group support for students, including those with special needs
- Help with classroom organization, preparation of materials, and supervision during transitions
- Reinforce learning goals and promote positive social interactions among students
- Monitor student progress and assist in documentation and reporting as directed by the classroom teacher
- Attend meetings or training sessions as required to support your professional growth
