Desired Skills & Experience:
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational or special education setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with teachers, staff, and students

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow school protocols
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or associate’s degree a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional activities, both in group settings and one-on-one
- Support students in academic tasks, behavior management, and social skills development
- Foster an inclusive atmosphere, providing additional guidance to students with diverse learning needs
- Implement teacher-directed lesson plans and activities, adapting materials as necessary for student understanding
- Monitor student safety and support transitions within the school environment
- Maintain accurate, timely records of student progress and report observations to teaching staff
