CNC Machinist – 2nd Shift (Temp-to-Hire)

Pay: $24.00-$26.00/hour DOE Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Machinist to join a fast-paced Rapid Prototyping team supporting the Aerospace, Defense, and Semiconductor industries.

This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for candidates with a strong work ethic, stable work history, and solid references.

What You'll Do

• Program, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce high-precision, tight-tolerance parts
• Work with 5-axis milling and turning machines to create complex components
• Support rapid prototyping and quick-turn projects
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools to ensure quality standards
• Help improve processes for scalability and production efficiency
• Manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Follow and promote strong safety practices

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of CNC machining experience (high-precision environment)
• Strong experience with:
  • 5-Axis Milling
  • Turning Centers (Twin Spindle preferred)
  • Conventional machines (Bridgeport, etc.)
• Experience in Aerospace, Defense, or Semiconductor industries preferred
• Ability to read prints, work independently, and maintain high quality under pressure
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable work history and strong references required

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• EDM experience (Wire or Sinker)
• CNC programming/CAM experience
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or AS9100 standards
