Accounts Receivable SpecialistJob SummaryThe Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting financial reporting and budgeting processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring strong cash flow and providing financial insights through reporting and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess and post customer payments (checks, ACH, credit cards) in QuickBooksGenerate and distribute accurate invoices in a timely mannerMonitor accounts for overdue payments and follow up on outstanding balancesReconcile accounts receivable ledger and resolve discrepanciesMaintain accurate and organized financial records within QuickBooksGenerate financial reports (aging reports, collections reports, cash flow summaries)Assist in building and maintaining budgets and forecastsAnalyze AR data to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesCollaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or payment issuesSupport month-end and year-end closing processesQualificationsAssociate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)2+ years of accounts receivable or accounting experienceHands-on experience with QuickBooks (required)Experience with financial reporting and basic budgeting processesStrong understanding of accounting principles and AR workflowsProficiency in Microsoft Excel (reporting and data analysis)Skills & CompetenciesStrong analytical and reporting skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to interpret financial data and support decision-makingEffective communication and problem-solving skillsTime management and ability to meet deadlinesPreferred Qualifications (Optional)Experience creating or managing budgetsAdvanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas)Experience in small to mid-sized business environmentsE04JI802pvh84090mb3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
