Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant

Role Overview The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) provides direct rehabilitation care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist in a skilled nursing facility setting. Key Responsibilities Implement and follow physical therapy treatment plans for patients. Assist patients in achieving functional progress and improving quality of life. Chart patient progress accurately and timely using therapy software. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including nursing and medical staff. Participate in community health initiatives and ensure safety and sanitation standards. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and legal regulations. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and excellent customer service. Assist in patient evacuation and ensure dependable attendance. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program. Active license or registration in the applicable state. CPR certification (obtained during orientation if not already certified). Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email communication. Strong communication, decision-making, and teamwork skills. Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, standing, and walking. Additional Requirements New graduates are encouraged to apply.
