Accounts Payable Specialist Department: Accounting & Finance Location: Noblesville, IN Position Overview:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a core member of a small AP team in a growing work environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable functions with a focus on accuracy, proper job cost coding, and timely invoice processing. This is a full-time, in-person position at our headquarters in Noblesville, IN. Key Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Specialist is a core member of a small AP team in a growing work environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle accounts payable functions with a focus on accuracy, proper job cost coding, and timely invoice processing. This is a full-time, in-person position at our headquarters in Noblesville, IN. Key Responsibilities:
- Process vendor invoices and receipts, matching to purchase orders
- Code invoices accurately to jobs and cost categories in support of job costing functions
- Obtain and track invoice approvals through internal workflow prior to payment
- Perform multi-state invoice processing in accordance with applicable requirements
- Reconcile credit card statements and receipts in a timely manner
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies or mismatches
- Maintain accurate AP records within Vista by Viewpoint
- 2-3 years of accounts payable or accounting/finance related experience required
- Experience with Vista by Viewpoint preferred
- Familiarity with job costing in a project-based or construction environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborative and comfortable working within a small team structure in a growing environment
