Medical Office Representative

Job Description
We are seeking an energetic and compassionate medical office assistant to join our team. We are a concierge primary care group with multiple locations in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. We provide the environment for you to put your clerical skills and compassion to use without the pressure of a volume-driven corporation, as well as the opportunity to invest long-term in a practice that is sustainably growing. Your responsibilities would include medical back office tasks working in a close team dynamic.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Phone Triage
- Appointment scheduling
- Referrals coordination
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality
- Registration and data entry for new members
- Insurance authorizations for various tests and medications
REQUIREMENTS
- Proficient in medical terminology and electronic health records systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication and ability to multitask effectively
- Demonstrates a strong commitment to patient care and compassion
- Works well within a team
