Manufacturing Operator / Assembler

Shift/ Wage: 6am to 2:30pm Monday - Friday - $20/hr.

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operator / Assembler to support daily manufacturing operations in an onsite production environment. This position will perform a variety of assembly and non-assembly functions, including operating manufacturing equipment, assembling products, inspecting completed work, and identifying potential product or equipment issues.

The ideal candidate is comfortable working on their feet for an entire shift, performing repetitive tasks, following established procedures, and working as part of a team. This is a daytime position with overtime available or required as needed. No heavy lifting is required, but the position involves frequent standing, repetitive movements, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling, and moving completed products.

Job Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing and production equipment according to established procedures.
• Assemble products and components while following departmental procedures and work instructions.
• Check and inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet established requirements.
• Perform visual inspections and identify product defects, abnormalities, or quality concerns.
• Recognize equipment or production problems and promptly communicate issues to the Line Lead or Supervisor.
• Perform both assembly and non-assembly tasks to support daily manufacturing goals.
• Move materials and completed products between designated manufacturing areas as needed.
• Push and pull products or materials as required during the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and organized production area.
• Clean manufacturing equipment and work areas according to established procedures.
• Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing guidelines.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production goals and schedules.
• Maintain consistent attention to detail while performing repetitive manufacturing tasks.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred/required based on department requirements.
• Previous manufacturing, assembly, production, or warehouse experience is helpful but not required unless otherwise specified.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and established manufacturing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
• Ability to identify and communicate product or equipment issues.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work onsite during designated daytime hours.
• Must be open to working overtime as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and remain on your feet for prolonged periods throughout the entire shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and body movements associated with assembly and production work.
• Ability to push and pull products or materials as needed.
• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, reach, and move throughout the manufacturing area.
• Ability to move completed products from one designated area to another.
• Ability to clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and work areas.
• No heavy lifting is required for this position.
• Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.
