Job Description At Boeing, the Product Security Anti-Tamper Team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma is growing and currently seeking an Experienced / Mid-Career Software Security Engineer in the field of Anti-Tamper. This position will support the Mobility, Surveillance & Bombers (MS&B) division business organization. Position is expected to be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK, with willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Potential Signing Bonus for eligible/qualified candidates. Position Responsibilities Supports the development of documents and maintains architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems. Support and be accountable to program engineering leads in day-to-day task activities, accomplishments, issues, and concerns. Highly motivated and exhibit strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and problem solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and effectively with external customers and subcontractors in a multi-site and multi-discipline program and environment. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience) Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement. 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. 2+ years of experience in software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java. Ability to develop code for usability, readability, and maintainability. Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience or non-US equivalent qualifications. 4+ years of experience of software development in avionics or real-time embedded systems / firmware design using C/C++, Ada, and/or Java. 1+ years of experience with lifecycle Configuration management (CM) tools experience (GitLab). 1+ years of experience utilizing Agile tools (Jira). Experience in technical leadership with collaboration across multiple teams and locations in a fast-paced environment. Experience working in a DevSecOps environment. Experience with cryptography and other security protocols. Working knowledge in the field of cyber security, secure computing and/or anti-tamper. Security Clearance Requires ability to obtain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance post‑start. U.S. citizenship is required. Export Control Requirements This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
