Assembly Line Worker night shift $24.83/hr

Overview Production Associates are needed in the Greer, SC area to work on the BMW assembly line at the BMW Plant Spartanburg. This position offers a pay increase and opportunities for growth within a leading automotive manufacturer. Benefits Starting pay $23.58/hour Day Shift, $24.83/hour Night Shift Medical coverage (portion paid by I.K. Hofmann USA) Dental, Vision, Life, Accident, Short‑Term Disability, and Critical Illness insurance 401(k) with a match after one year of service 80 hours of Paid Time Off per 2000 hours worked Up to 13 paid holidays Pay increase after 1 and 2 years of service Employee Discount Program Referral Program – receive $50 for you and your referral after 80 work hours Schedule Day Shift: 7:00 am – 5:40 pm Night Shift: 7:30 pm – 6:10 am Training: 5 shifts of 8 hours/day for 2 weeks After training: 4 shifts of 10 hours/day/week Overtime shifts are allowed and encouraged Duties and Responsibilities Produce components by assembling parts and subassemblies Position parts and subassemblies using templates or measurements Assemble components, checking connections for correct fit and fastening parts Verify adequate materials and supplies for operations Adjust machine settings for changeovers and varying production needs Work up to 10 hours a day in a stationary position on the ergonomically enhanced assembly line Clean and maintain work area, equipment, and tools Conduct periodic quality control checks and maintain standards Essential Job Functions Work in a fast‑paced environment with problem‑solving and multitasking skills Maintain a stationary position during a shift Shift between upright and low stances Reach overhead as necessary Operate machinery to perform functions Move and transport up to 50 lbs unassisted Required Experience At least 1 year of production, manufacturing, or assembly experience High school diploma or GED Equal Employment Opportunity We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and celebrate our employees’ differences, regardless of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected class.
