Work Environment

This position is offered onsite, with a focus on providing in-home care to patients across Gardnerville and surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities, mobility, and strength to establish baseline metrics for treatment.
• Implement advanced diagnostic techniques to accurately identify treatment needs and develop individualized rehabilitation programs.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic approaches, including manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and specialized modalities tailored to the patient's specific condition.
• Create and modify personalized therapy programs designed to restore function, alleviate pain, and guide patients in their rehabilitation journey.
• Educate patients and their families on best practices for injury prevention, rehabilitation strategies, and home exercise routines to foster long-term health and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring a streamlined approach to patient care and optimizing rehabilitation outcomes.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients and their families to ensure understanding of and adherence to therapy protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will engage with a diverse population, including individuals recovering from post-operative procedures, managing chronic conditions, and seeking to regain mobility after injuries. Your ability to adapt treatment plans to each patient's unique circumstances will significantly impact their recovery trajectory and overall health.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Nevada.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in home care or outpatient settings.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families, ensuring their involvement in the rehabilitation process.
• A proven track record of developing and implementing patient-specific treatment plans focused on measurable outcomes.
• Passion for guiding patients through their recovery journeys, with resilience in adapting treatment as needed.
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a collaborative and supportive healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, bringing an understanding of common musculoskeletal disorders and treatment modalities.
• Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation technologies or protocols to enhance patient outcomes.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary between $90,000 and $100,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to base compensation, our robust benefits package includes:
