Legal Assistant - Part Time

A culture committed to community engagement and social impact Legal Assistant Part Time 3 days/25-30 hours per week Downers Grove, IL Provide part‑time administrative and legal support to Duly Health and Care’s Legal Team. Prior experience working in a law firm environment strongly preferred. Familiarity with PACER and electronic court filing systems. Experience with DuPage County and Will County e‑filing systems. Knowledge of Cook County court docketing procedures, particularly motion calls, filing appearances, motions, and other court filings. Assist attorneys with filing legal documents, retrieving court records, and monitoring court‑related documentation. Work with U.S. Legal Support or similar vendors to coordinate medical record requests, record subpoenas, and deposition subpoenas. Coordinate and schedule depositions and court reporters for depositions and trials, including video evidence depositions. Familiarity with common legal documents and litigation materials, including discovery, pleadings, motions, and answers to complaints. Provide day‑to‑day support to attorneys, including court filings, document retrieval, deposition coordination, and scheduling. Maintain strong attention to detail while managing deadlines, court requirements, and multiple legal matters simultaneously. The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $28.01- 42.01 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
