Director, Pharmaceutical Development

Erasca seeks a Director of Pharmaceutical Development to oversee small molecule drug product development and manufacturing across research, clinical, and commercial stages. The role involves managing contract manufacturers, leading cross-functional teams, and ensuring compliance with GMP and regulatory standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical and strategic oversight of CDMOs for small molecule drug products
- Manage contractor relationships and coordinate development activities across manufacturing and testing
- Lead cross-functional teams to meet CMC goals and timelines
- Author and review regulatory submissions and standard operating procedures
- Act as subject matter expert on GMP, ICH guidance, and regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Advanced degree in Pharmaceutics, Chemistry, or related field
- 10–12+ years progressive biotech or pharmaceutical industry experience
- Expertise in small molecule drug product development and manufacturing
- Experience managing contract development and manufacturing organizations
- Knowledge of GMP regulations, ICH guidance, and regulatory expectations
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills
