Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting young learners as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for a full school year. In this dynamic contract role, you’ll work with PreK through 3rd grade students at a single location, focusing on speech and language development to help children succeed academically and socially.

Qualifications & Preferred Background:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Valid SLP license in Illinois (or eligibility to obtain)
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcomed
• School-based experience with pediatric populations preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students in PreK-3rd grades
• Develop individualized therapy plans, set achievable goals, and monitor progress
• Deliver direct and consultative speech-language interventions onsite
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
• Maintain timely and accurate records aligned with district and state regulations
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise on student needs and progress
