Job Opportunity – Critical Care RN / Cardiac Care Unit – Tennessee

Start Date: November 9, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 4-week scheduling cycle with 3-4 weekend shifts per period; 2:1 patient ratios in a 32-bed unit; floating to other units as needed based on census

Highlights:

• Specialized cardiac critical care environment with a growing cardiogenic shock program featuring 12 dedicated beds
• Advanced cardiac procedures including PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, and CRRT
• Providers specializing in cardiogenic shock patient population with engaged, collaborative staff
• Meditech documentation system with Hill-Rom beds and Phillips telemetry monitoring
• Supportive team culture recognized through Nurse Practice Council and Daisy Award programs
• Student nurse externs available as techs with unit secretary support Monday-Friday

Requirements:

• Current RN license
• Strong critical care nursing experience required
• Cardiac experience required (must have)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Experience with central line insertion, swan insertion, and intubations preferred
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac interventions (PA catheter, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP, Impella, CRRT) strongly preferred
