As a Front Desk Security Officer at an aerospace and defense location, you will welcome visitors, manage access, verify credentials, monitor security-related activity, and communicate professionally with employees and guests. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.69 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeSat11:00 PM - 07:00 AMSun11:00 PM - 07:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a front desk within an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies. Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and directing individuals in accordance with established procedures. Monitor access points, reception-area activity, alarms, and communications systems; report unusual activity or concerns to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate. Maintain accurate visitor logs, access records, and incident documentation while providing professional support to the facility and its occupants. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least one year of security-related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret clearance. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
