Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical - Neuro

12-hour night shifts, 3x per week. Shift times are 18:45 - 07:15. Must work every other weekend.

Contracts available for 13-26 weeks. Options for 36 or 48 hours per week.

Minimum of 2 years of experience with at least 1 year of direct Med/Surg experience.

Must have completed at least 2 successful contracts as a traveler; first-time travelers are not accepted.

Certifications: BCLS, NIH, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred.

Skills: IV start, telemetry, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, and Med/Surg neuro experience required.

Provide high-quality nursing care to stroke and neurosurgery patients.

Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes effectively.

Float to other Med/Surg/Tele areas as needed, including COVID care units.

Participate in patient education and discharge planning.

Must pass EKG testing prior to start for this specialty. Return to office (RTO) after booking is not allowed and must be worked out prior to on-site arrival. If RTO includes weekends, time will be added to the end of contract to make up for those dates. If a traveler calls out for a scheduled weekend shift, they will be required to make up the weekend shifts based on unit needs.
