It provides news, entertainment, and educational programming through television, radio, digital media, and live events, reaching a broad regional audience. The organization operates multiple television and radio services and associated digital platforms, and it delivers programming that includes daily digital content, community call-in programming, annual community events, and ongoing learning workshops across Jacksonville. The client’s President and CEO serves as the organization’s chief executive, responsible for the effective operation, sustainability, and growth of the organization. The role guides strategic vision, champions innovation, and represents the client within the community and industry. Acting as the principal fundraiser and a visible public figure, the President and CEO advances the organization’s mission while building trust and strong relationships with staff, boards, donors, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in broadcasting and media leadership, able to guide the client through growth and transformation. They have a proven record of leading organizations, large divisions, or major departments while balancing operational excellence with innovation through strategic thinking. The candidate is expected to inspire teams, cultivate donor and community relationships, and engage boards and stakeholders effectively, with the integrity, presence, and interpersonal skills to be a passionate defender of public media’s role in local communities.
