MECHANICAL DESIGNER A

Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is seeking a Mechanical Designer - Process Designer to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various design initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Mechanical Designer - Process Designer Location: Southfield, MI Pay Range: $26.00-$32.00Hourly What's the Job? Build and maintain a Siemens Process Designer PLM database for architectural areas. Support the lead designer in creating deliverables generated within Process Designer. Conduct maintenance work on the database and generate various process designer reports. Utilize Siemens NX CAD software for product investigations and compliance checks. Collaborate with multiple lead process personnel across various projects. What's Needed? 3+ years of mechanical design and engineering experience in Process Design. Experience with Siemens NX and GM Team Center preferred. Ability to work independently and within small engineering teams. Basic understanding of mechanical design sequences and controls documents.
