Undergrad Co-op - Interactive Developer / Immersive Course Programmer for Manufacturing

Amgen Inc

Undergraduate co-op position in Puerto Rico developing immersive training experiences using virtual and augmented reality for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. The role involves designing interactive content, 3D modeling, and simulation of complex manufacturing processes starting November 2026.

Responsibilities

Design and create interactive VR and AR training experiences for manufacturing education
Develop 3D models, animations, textures, and visual concepts using industry tools
Simulate complex manufacturing and training processes in virtual environments
Support cross-functional teams on manufacturing-related projects and initiatives
Collaborate with team members to implement and evaluate immersive training solutions

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Bachelor's degree program in Video Game Programming, Art, or 3D Design
Completed at least 2 years of relevant coursework prior to co-op start
Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 and game engine development
Experience with 3D modeling, animation, and real-time rendering tools
Ability to understand complex manufacturing processes and translate to virtual environments
Available for full-time schedule; authorized to work in U.S.
