Technical Operations Engineer Co-Op
Johnson & Johnson
Process engineering co-op role at Johnson & Johnson's MedTech division in Puerto Rico supporting manufacturing optimization and process improvement initiatives. Full-time position from January to December 2027 focused on operational excellence, quality improvements, and regulatory compliance within a medical device manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Execute engineering projects of low to medium complexity and manage quality non-conformances
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste and downtime
- Perform root cause analysis and develop corrective and preventive actions
- Support process validation activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Analyze manufacturing data and ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and safety standards
Requirements
- Completion of undergraduate freshman year at accredited university
- Pursuing Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Permanently authorized to work in U.S. without visa sponsorship
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in team environment
