Job Description
Role Summary
- The Salesforce Product Owner/Product Manager will be responsible for product planning, roadmap execution, and delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
- This role will work closely with business stakeholders, Salesforce architects, administrators, developers, and QA teams to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Salesforce solutions.
- The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC), Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CRM strategy, roadmap planning, requirements management, and stakeholder engagement.
- The individual will act as the bridge between business and technology teams, ensuring that Salesforce solutions align with organizational goals and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Develop and execute a multi-year Salesforce product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
- Define product vision, strategy, and priorities for Salesforce FSC and related Salesforce platforms.
- Balance business priorities, technical debt, compliance requirements, and platform enhancements.
- Maintain and prioritize a value-driven product backlog.
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through stakeholder meetings and workshops.
- Perform gap analysis and identify opportunities for Salesforce-driven process improvements.
- Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Prepare BRDs, Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS), SRS documents, use cases, and process flow documentation.
Solution Design & Delivery
- Collaborate with Salesforce architects, developers, and administrators to design scalable solutions.
- Ensure solutions align with CRM strategy, platform governance, and architecture standards.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and Agile delivery processes.
- Coordinate onsite-offshore teams during development, testing, deployment, and release activities.
Stakeholder Management
- Act as the primary liaison between business users and technical teams.
- Conduct workshops, requirement gathering sessions, and stakeholder review meetings.
- Obtain stakeholder approvals and sign-offs for requirements and solution documents.
- Present recommendations and solution approaches to business leadership.
Testing & Adoption
- Support test planning and test case creation.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
- Facilitate issue resolution during testing cycles.
- Deliver end-user training and adoption programs.
- Create training materials and user documentation.
Continuous Improvement
- Monitor Salesforce platform utilization and performance.
- Recommend enhancements and process improvements.
- Stay informed on Salesforce releases, product updates, and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Product Owner/Product Manager.
- Strong experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC).
- Hands-on experience with CRM roadmap planning and Salesforce implementations.
- Proven expertise in preparing BRDs, SRS, Functional Specifications, Gap Analysis, and Solution Design Documents.
- Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in onsite-offshore delivery models.
