Construction Coordinator

Job Title: Construction CoordinatorJob Description We are seeking a dedicated and organized Construction Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will maintain and update job files, manage electronic drawing software, and facilitate certificates of insurance for various projects. This role requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities + Maintain and update job files, forms, and logs, and communicate job numbers weekly. + Print drawings and scan As-Builts as needed. + Create and store Panel Legends in appropriate job folders. + Facilitate certificates of insurance for projects. + Set up and manage electronic drawing software. + Pull and track electrical permits, and maintain a permit tracker. + Distribute job cost and hours reports biweekly. + Assist with the preparation and submission of customer packages. + Create, track, and submit Purchase Orders. + Scan, file, create, and distribute project documents including submittals and closeout documents. + Maintain records of sub-contracts and agreements. + Serve as the primary contact for software, including onboarding, vendor support, and PO maintenance. + Handle software issues and provide field training. + Perform company prequalifications as required. + Manage the closeout procedure for construction projects. + Handle insurance audits and ensure compliance with vendor certificates. + Verify contract execution and maintain job budgets. + Enter and update budgets, and run monthly budget reports. + Enter Change Orders and update Foundation budgets. + Arrange travel and accommodations. Essential Skills + Proficiency in project coordination and construction documentation. + Experience with permit applications and purchase orders. + Strong skills in Microsoft Office. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma or equivalent required. + Knowledge of building and construction materials, methods, and tools preferred but not required. Work Environment The work environment is a large office in the Belmont area with a cubicle setup. It is a hands-on and fast-paced, yet supportive environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
