Job Summary

We are seeking Field Verification Engineers with strong mechanical engineering and asset management experience to support asset data collection, field verification, equipment hierarchy development, and CMMS implementation for industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate will have 5 7 years of experience in process or packaging plants , preferably within the FMCG, Pharma, or Food industries , with hands-on experience in Asset Management, CMMS, Maximo, SAP PM, or similar systems .

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct asset walkdowns and field verification activities to collect and validate equipment data.
• Review P&IDs, equipment drawings, OEM manuals, and plant documentation for asset information.
• Develop and maintain asset registers for mechanical equipment.
• Create and validate equipment master data and asset attributes .
• Establish equipment hierarchies and parent-child relationships for CMMS deployment.
• Develop Preventive Maintenance (PM) plans for mechanical equipment.
• Prepare Job Plans, Task Lists, and Standard Maintenance Procedures .
• Validate Bills of Materials (BoM) for maintainable assets.
• Define maintenance strategies based on equipment criticality and OEM recommendations .
• Create structured asset hierarchies according to client standards and requirements .
• Prepare Maximo/SAP-ready asset upload templates .
• Support CMMS data cleansing, enrichment, validation, and standardization .
• Validate asset master data before system upload.
• Coordinate with maintenance, reliability, operations, and engineering teams to gather required information.
• Work with OEMs and vendors to obtain equipment and technical information.
• Participate in client meetings, reviews, workshops, and technical discussions .
• Prepare and provide periodic progress reports and technical updates .

Required Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering and asset management.
• Experience working in Process / Packaging Plants .
• Industry experience in FMCG, Pharma, Food, or similar manufacturing environments .
• Hands-on experience with asset walkdowns and field verification .
• Strong understanding of mechanical equipment, P&IDs, equipment drawings, and plant documentation .
• Experience developing asset registers, equipment hierarchies, master data, and BoMs .
• Experience with CMMS platforms , preferably IBM Maximo or SAP PM .
• Understanding of Preventive Maintenance programs and maintenance strategies .
• Strong documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Maximo/SAP asset data upload templates .
• Knowledge of equipment criticality and reliability improvement .
• Experience with OEM/vendor coordination .
• Familiarity with CMMS data migration, cleansing, and standardization .
• Experience working directly with maintenance and reliability teams in plant environments.
