Position Overview

The Café General Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations, including team leadership, guest satisfaction, financial performance, food safety compliance, and operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on leader who can build a strong team culture while delivering an outstanding experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all café operations in a high-volume airport setting
• Foster a positive, hospitality-focused culture centered on exceptional guest service
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop team members
• Manage schedules, labor costs, and productivity to meet operational goals
• Drive sales and profitability through strong operational execution
• Monitor inventory levels and control food, beverage, and supply costs
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Maintain company standards for cleanliness, organization, and operational excellence
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and effectively
• Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements as needed
• Promote a safe and positive work environment for all team members

Qualifications

• 2+ years of restaurant, café, coffee shop, or hospitality management experience
• Proven success leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
• Experience managing labor, inventory, and operating costs
• Ability to multitask and make decisions under pressure
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to pass any required airport background screening
