Details Level 3/4 Neonatal ICU unit within a hospital setting 97-bed unit staffed by approximately 200 team members Unit primarily staffed by RNs with support from a unit clerk on both day and night shifts Patient ratio of 3-4 patients per RN Uses Medfusion pumps, Alaris pumps, Giraffe isolettes, and GE monitors EMR systems used include CPN and Meditech 13-week contract with a 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM night shift schedule No on-call requirements Requirements Active TX or Compact RN license required Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program, Advanced 9th Edition) and BLS certifications required Minimum 2 years of Level 3 NICU experience required No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level 3/4 NICU setting Candidates with prior travel nursing experience preferred Navy scrub color required per unit dress code No nail polish or artificial nails permitted per unit policy Best fit for friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personalities Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates will not be considered American Traveler Job ID P-746647.
