The standard shift hours are from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Unit Information Location: Austin, TX Number of Beds: 32 Staffing: 117 total staff members Day Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT Mid Shift: 2 CNCs, 15 RNs, 2 Medics, 2 PCTs Night Shift: 1 CNC, 6 RNs, 1 Medic, 1 PCT Patient Ratio: 4:1 Type of Equipment: EMR - Meditech Permanency: Permanent positions available Qualifications Must Have: Current TNCC certification (to be obtained by start date) Current ENPC certification (to be obtained by start date) Current ACLS certification Current BLS certification Preferred: More than 2 years of experience in Emergency Nursing Typical Procedures Performed Lumbar Punctures (LP) Intubations Thrombolysis using TNK Laceration Repairs Suture Removals Splinting Personality Fit Ideal candidates will be great team players who can anticipate the needs of patients and the department. A cooperative and proactive attitude is essential for success in this role.
