Details Work in an 11-bed Free Standing Emergency Department Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Rotating weekend requirement No on-call requirements Uses ventilator and point-of-care lab equipment Meditech EMR system used 13-week contract assignment Requirements Active RN license (TX or Compact) currently in hand Current certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), NIH Stroke Certification, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience required FSED experience preferred Experience with IV starts and 12-lead EKG/patient assessment No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information Perform IV starts, 12-lead EKG, and patient assessments in a fast-paced ED environment Team includes RN and CNC staff on both day and night shifts Navy blue scrub color required Candidates should be inclusive, helpful, and team-oriented Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted American Traveler Job ID P-745194.
