Job Details Specialty: Emergency Room / Emergency Department Nursing Employment Type: Travel RN Contract Start Date: 8/31/2026 End Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Shift Duration: 12-hour night shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 - $1,540 Openings: 2 On Call: No on-call required Weekends: Rotating weekends Location: Austin, TX 78704 Job Requirements Active RN license At least 1 year of Emergency Department, ER, or comparable acute care nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications Meditech experience preferred Trauma nursing experience preferred Holding or inpatient experience preferred CPI training preferred Strong multitasking skills, teamwork, adaptability, and a self-starter mindset Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency, trauma, and critically ill patients in a fast-paced ED setting Perform and assist with splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, and resuscitation support Support trauma care, central line management, airway support, and rapid infuser use as needed Deliver behavioral health de-escalation and patient-centered care in high-stress situations Collaborate with physicians, ER techs, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient patient flow Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EMR and follow established unit policies and procedures Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment focused on excellent patient outcomes Apply now for this Emergency Department RN travel job in Austin, TX and join a dedicated healthcare team today.
