Assistant Teaching Professor, Economics (Non-Tenure-Track) Position Title Assistant Teaching Professor, Economics (Non-Tenure-Track) The Department of Economics at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York, seeks to fill one Assistant Teaching Professor (Non-Tenure-Track)position for an economist committed to achieving excellence in instruction. The position requires teaching 3 undergraduate courses each semester, including large-enrollment introductory courses, and some departmental service. We are seeking candidates committed to developing careers in economics education. This is a full-time, non-tenure-track qualified rank faculty position (10-month obligation) ideally beginning with UB’s spring 2027 semester, though fall 2027 start is possible. The initial appointment will be for 3 years, with renewable 1-year terms. JEL Classifications 00 – Default: Any field A1 – General Economics A2 – Economic Education and Teaching of Economics Applications received by October 11, 2026 will receive priority consideration.
