IT Product Owner

Job Title: IT Product Owner, Pricing Systems Location: Charlotte, NC (remote, with occasional onsite; candidates must live within approximately one hour of Charlotte) Client Overview A global materials science and advanced manufacturing company with operations across optical communications, display technologies, life sciences, and specialty materials. This role sits inside the corporate IT organization supporting commercial and pricing systems, partnering with pricing, deal desk, sales operations, finance, and enterprise application teams. Top 3 Skills Ownership of a pricing or CPQ platform, including deal management, price management, and approval workflow configuration Product ownership in an enterprise IT environment: roadmap, backlog, demand intake, requirements, and release planning Integration and process design across CRM and ERP systems supporting pricing, quoting, and discount governance What You'll Do Own the roadmap for the pricing technology platform, including deal management, price management, approval workflows, and downstream integrations Maintain a prioritized backlog of enhancements, technical improvements, and new business capabilities Run demand intake, requirements gathering, solution evaluation, and prioritization with business stakeholders Partner with pricing, deal desk, and commercial leadership to improve price management, deal review and approval, discount governance, and quoting efficiency Serve as the primary IT relationship owner for the pricing platform vendor, including release evaluation and performance monitoring Coordinate platform upgrades, testing, release management, and production deployment Maintain SOX controls, segregation of duties, role based access, and audit readiness for pricing systems Establish governance for system changes, configuration management, and production releasesTranslate technical concepts into clear business language for executive and business audiences Work with developers, architects, and integration specialists through design, testing, deployment, and production support Preferred / Bonus Hands on experience with Vendavo Deal Manager or Price Manager Experience with other pricing optimization or CPQ platforms such as Pricefx, Zilliant, PROS, or Conga CPQ Salesforce and SAP experience, particularly around pricing, quoting, or commercial operations Experience supporting SOX controlled environments and audit remediation Certified Scrum Product Owner or equivalent Agile product management credential Enterprise integration, API, and data management experience #J-18808-Ljbffr Elevait Solutions
