Paralegal

Coulter & Sierra, LLC is a community association and general real estate law firm based in Norcross, Georgia. The firm practices in both Georgia and Alabama, with clients throughout each state. This is an excellent opportunity for a full-time, onsite collections paralegal. This key team member will be responsible for supporting attorneys in managing pre-suit, litigation and/or post judgment collections collection files, activities and processes. The paralegal may also be responsible for real estate record research and filing. This position provides an opportunity for professional growth and expansion of skill set. Preferred qualifications: College degree, paralegal degree or certificate (preferred but not required) Experience in collections Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) Familiarity with drafting and filing court pleadings Highly organized and able to prioritize Willingness to learn new skills and complete a variety of legal tasks based on firm need Handle pressure of deadlines in a fast-paced and detailed-oriented environment Relate well to people in a variety of situations Must be able to communicate with diplomacy and courtesy Must be comfortable interacting with clients on the phone and in writing Solid Microsoft Office skills and the ability to work in a team environment are musts #J-18808-Ljbffr Coulter & Sierra, LLC
