The Opportunity
We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Montague region seeking Maintenance Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidatesnot just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
- Manage and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, including scheduling and performance reviews.
- Oversee the repair and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Control department budget, including spare parts inventory management and vendor negotiations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Collaborate with production to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance efficiency and reliability.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or a related field
- 7+ years experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment
- Proven expertise in CMMS/EAM systems and their optimization
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to manage multi-craft teams and prioritize complex workloads
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
