About This Role The Registered Nurse Non-Acute functions as a caregiver for a specific patient population to achieve desired outcomes. This role is ideal for those who are dedicated to providing effective direct care as part of an interdisciplinary team. Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time What You'll Do Deliver nursing practices according to evidence-based research and standards of care. Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions to attain expected outcomes. Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning and documentation technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Identify ethical issues in the practice setting and address them appropriately. Requirements Education: BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire. Experience: Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs. Licenses & Certifications: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required. AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification within 60 days of entering position.
