Administrative Assistant / Receptionist (English/Bangla/Sylheti)

Our growing immigration law firm is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and dedicated individual to join our supportive team in a full-time (40 hours/week) position! We offer a positive work environment, paid holidays, paid time off (PTO), and opportunities for periodic and annual performance bonuses.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Client Communication : Answer and direct phone calls and emails for English and Bangla/Sylheti-speaking clients.
  • Interpretation : Translate for attorneys and clients during legal hearing preparations.
  • Scheduling : Maintain attorneys’ calendars, schedule consultations, and manage reminders.
  • Case Management : File, organize, scan, and mail legal cases for filing or client review.
  • Document Drafting : Draft professional cover letters to clients and government agencies.
  • Financial Tracking : Update and maintain accounts receivables and payables.

Requirements:

  • Language Skills : Absolute fluency in both English and Bangla/Sylheti (spoken).
  • Technical Skills : Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with excellent typing speed.
  • Soft Skills : Professional communication, strong organization, and the ability to multi-task.
  • Mindset : Detail-oriented, reliable, and ready to contribute to a collaborative team.
