HIRING IMMEDIATELY: SHIPPING COORDINATOR IN ROMEOVILLE, IL

Accurate Personnel is hiring immediately for a Shipping Coordinator to join our team in Romeoville, Illinois. This individual will be responsible for coordinating daily carrier pickups and preparing all necessary courier documentation to ensure on-time shipments, generating and reviewing shipping documents, and more listed below. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or a similar shipping/coordination role, strong attention to detail, and much more. Pay, Schedule, and Location

• Starting at $18/hour
• Excellent benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision
• Mon-fri 7am-3:20 , 8:00am- 4:20pm-depending on the clients needs
• Located in Romeoville, Illinois

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily carrier pickups and prepare all necessary courier documentation to ensure on-time shipments.
• Generate and review shipping documents including bills of lading (BOL), packing lists, shipping invoices, and customs forms.
• Verify shipment contents against tally sheets, pre-load checklists, and manifests to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Partner with the inventory management team to investigate and resolve discrepancies, ensuring proper stock levels and shipment readiness.
• Communicate effectively with customers and carriers regarding shipment tracking, delivery status, and general order inquiries.
• Ensure all international shipments comply with customs regulations and documentation requirements.
• Monitor shipping schedules and proactively address issues that may impact delivery timelines.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in logistics, warehouse operations, or a similar shipping/coordination role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail with the ability to review shipping data, identify discrepancies, and support cost-effective shipping decisions.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact across teams and with external partners.
• Organization: Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly identify issues and implement effective solutions.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, including extended periods of standing and movement.
