Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Healthcare Professional in Evansville, Indiana. This role involves working on a dedicated Stroke Unit with 30 beds, providing high-quality patient care across diverse specialties including Medical, Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), Cardiac, Gastrointestinal (GI), Renal, Sepsis, Trauma, and Surgery. The position requires delivering compassionate care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring patient safety and recovery.

Job Details:

• Location: Evansville, Indiana
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid state licensure as a healthcare professional, minimum of 1 year of clinical experience, certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), and effective communication skills
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in stroke or step down units, certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) are a plus
• Additional Information: This is a specialized role on a designated Stroke Unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4. Candidates should demonstrate adaptability, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment.
